Description: Starting at Prestbury, walk along the Bollin Valley Way to Mottram St Andrew and return across fields and tracks. The walk is relatively easy.

Directions to Start: The walk starts from Springfields Car Park, Prestbury, Macclesfield SK10 4HP

A suggested route from Congleton is to take the A536 to Gawsworth.

At the crossroads immediately after Gawsworth Methodist church turn left into Dark Lane.

After ≈0.2 miles turn right into Gawsworth Road.

Continue onto Broken Cross

At the roundabout continue straight onto Fallibroome Road

At next roundabout take the first exit onto Priory Lane.

Go straight ahead at three roundabouts until you reach Prestbury Road, B5087.

Go left and then immediately right onto the Macclesfield Road

Go right at the mini-roundabout in Prestbury village.

After quarter of a mile, immediately after a row of shops, restaurants and the Admiral Rodney pub, turn left into Springfields Car Park (charges apply).
