UPDATED 21/07/25 - Diversion 22 Miles due to footbridge being destoyed with flooding. / UPDATED 19/07/25 - #RaceAcrossBreconBeacons: 100 Miles traversing the Brecon Beacons National Park. Starting from the Heart of Abergavenny amongst the majestic ruins of Abergavenny Castle and following the Beacons Way National Trail with 10 Checkpoints along the way, the event has all the hallmarks of a classic, inspiring runners to take on this epic challenge! / With 6143m of Ascent (20100 ft) over 100 miles, Live Online GPS Tracking via GB Race Tracker, breathtaking views and amazing support from the #GBUltras team, the event also attains UTMB index and ITRA mountain points with optional transport back to the Start Venue after the event.  / Please also CHECK out the LOW LEVEL routes...  / One or more low level sections maybe actioned and is subject to decisions of Race HQ pre-race and during the race. / 1. As 2024 - 100 mile approaching Talybont - Leaving Canal near to the start of the 100k race, diversion joining road section avoiding farmland. / 2. Severe weather diversion - Central Beacons / 3. Severe weather diversion - Carmarthen Fans / 4. Participants made aware of diversion around Carreg Cennan Castle / FINAL CHECKS UNDERWAY (we are aware of 2 x minor diversions)
